It’s the single largest marijuana business conference in the world and attended by growers, producers, manufacturers, investors, dispensaries, and other companies in the cannabis sector.

When does MJBizCon Vegas run?

This year’s Vegas marijuana business conference runs from November 14 – 16th of 2018.

The conference is located in the massive Las Vegas Convention Center, taking over the entire Central Hall from 10:00am to 6:00pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

How did MJBizCon start?

The first MJBizCon was put on by MJBizDaily in 2012. They saw a need for an industry cannabis conference and filled it. Not only that, the conference has actually sold out every year between 2013 and 2016.

What do you need to know before you attend MJBizcon 2018?

Can you consume cannabis at the conference?

No. There is a very strict THC product prohibition in effect. Consuming cannabis onsite is done at your own peril. If you need a quick refresher on Vegas cannabis law, it’s still illegal to consume anywhere but on private property.

Can you shoot video or take photographs?

Only official videography and photography is permitted. Photographers will have a formal Press Pass for the event, and video can only be taken by press staff with previous authorization. All videographers will be official conference personnel, or individually accompanied by an MJBizDaily PR representative.

Can you bring your own sales materials if you aren’t an official exhibitor?

No, outside sales literature of any kind is strictly prohibited. The prohibition includes brochures, product samples, product menus, lab test results; basically anything that isn’t a business card. So what can you do? Make sure you’ve got enough business cards for the event!

Can you record MJBizCon speaker sessions?

No. Conference speakers have never, and will never be recorded. MJBizDaily doesn’t even record speaker sessions. There isn’t a rule against writing or typing quickly, so make sure you take legible notes at every speaker session you attend.
